The inspiration of Movarion emerged from listening to the needs of people working in the healthcare sector. We saw many strenuous tasks involved in the logistics of healthcare, pushing carts, moving equipment, keeping track of the equipment and supplies. We see a dedicated and determined workforce fulfilling the needs of all aspects of our healthcare; stocking fridges, transporting surgical equipment, and providing the logistics that keep everything running. This workforce is critical to all of our healthcare; We believe they should have access to intuitive and advanced equipment to complete their critical tasks.

              WRHN (Waterloo Region Health Network) has provided us a unique and enlightening opportunity to observe and research many aspects of logistics and material handling in the healthcare environment. This opportunity also afforded many conversations and personal insight into what technology and equipment could make an immediate meaningful impact. We founded Movarion on the challenge to make a difference in the workplace of the people we have met through this connection with WRHN.

              Building on our decades of experience in the research and development of autonomous vehicles, and vehicle electrification, Movarion will facilitate the development of innovative tools that will support this critical backbone to our healthcare system. We incorporate state of the art technology with listening to the immediate needs and direct feedback of the healthcare workforce to develop solutions that will make a positive change in a critical space that affects us all.
